This, is my face, covered in freckles with the occasional spot and some veins, this, is my body, covered in skin, and not all of it you can see, and this, is my mind, it goes over and over the same old lines, and this, is my brain, it's torturous analytical thoughts make me go insane, and I use mouthwash, sometimes I floss, I've got a family, and I drink cups of tea, I've got nostalgic pavements, I've got familiar faces, I've got a mixed-up memory, and I've got favourite places, and I'm singing uh oh on a Friday night, and I'm singing uh oh on a Friday night, and I'm singing uh oh on a Friday night and I hope everything's gonna be alright, and I'm singing uh oh on a Friday night and I hope everything's gonna be alright, this, is my face, I've got a thousand opinions and not the time to explain, and, this, is my body and no matter how you try and disable it, yes I'll still be here, and, this, is my mind and although you try to infringe you cannot confine, and this is my brain and even if you try and hold me back ( there's nothing that you can gain ) |

I'm so fucking bored I could kill people.
Work is boring- people are boring. They just float about being odd and making you blink at them in incomprehension and at first it's novel, it's different but at the end of the day you get used to. People talking about eviscerating pig's because they've nothing to do on a Saturday night and asking who wants to join them? It sounds so bizarre. When it's old Mikey Flaherty it's not really all that bizarre and I could probably name all the people who signed up for it off the top of my bloody head.
Then home is boring, but it's never anything but. I've got this odd feeling that I'm missing something sometimes. And then I remember I'm supposed to have a kid 'round here sometimes. It'd be helpful if he did, you know. Make more noise. It wouldn't hurt him surely and it frightens the fucking crap out of me that he reads more than I ever have.
Granted a lot of them are picture books, still, and I suspect he just gawks at the pretty picture but good God. I think he just sat down with his fifteenth of this week. Or it seems like it's that many.
I am not bragging about this. I'm really not. I want to kill people who brag. So I'm not. Honest.

Eventually, I will remember. Eventually. As it stands, though, I keep forgetting and keep getting glared at. That really doesn't sound all that frightening, I know, but you have no idea how truly, freakily frightening it is until someone who is basically a cyclops glares at you with their lazy eye.
By frightening, there, I of course mean frightening in the sense that it's really, really quite bloody awful to want to laugh so hard your ribs will break to the face of someone who could kill you with the power resting in that one eye of us. Yeah, it's lazy but that doesn't mean there isn't some kind of amazing super powers in there that can burn your eyes and make them fall out if you stare too long.
Hey, it's the wizarding world. Stranger things have happened.
